Jay & Lee Rumba Flamenca
We are Jason & Elysa Hochman, a husband-and-wife guitar duo with over 1 million Instagram followers and over 100,000 YouTube subscribers. Together, we form Jay & Lee Rumba Flamenca, and as a family, we are globally known as the Quarantined Quartet, alongside our two children, Joseph and Noah.

Published Works
We fuse Spanish, classical, flamenco, and acoustic guitar styles, performing as solo guitarists, as a duo, and as a family quartet. We have released two albums under our guitar duo name Jay & Lee and one EP under Quarantined Quartet. Our first full-length album as a family band will be released on October 25th. In addition, we’ve published four books of classical and flamenco guitar music featuring over 75 original etudes and songs, under Melbay Publications.

Our Journey
We are the founders of the New York Guitar Academy, where we specialize in teaching guitar online with live instruction. We've been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tamron Hall, Good Morning America, NBC News, CBS News, and many more for our unique family band, which we started in March 2020.

Performances
We've performed at iconic venues and events such as Lincoln Center, the US Open Finals Pre-Game Shows, and various galas, celebrity weddings and events, film and music festivals, and museums. Our performances include original compositions and unique arrangements of Spanish classical, world and rumba flamenca guitar songs. We are also proud to be official Cordoba Guitar Artists and D'Addario Artists.

Our guitar duo is a proud recipient of the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards, with all 5-star reviews, representing the top 5% of wedding professionals. We were also honored with the Best of The Bash Award, with over 100 verified bookings and 5-star reviews.

Our Background
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Jason is of Argentine-American heritage, while Elysa has a Mediterranean background. We’ve studied with renowned guitarists worldwide and hold a Graduate Degree in Music and Music Education from Columbia University Teachers College.
